Like the simple elegance of architecture or interior design, noted Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Cynthia Boxrud understands the subtleties of beauty.

She has created the world’s most effective creams for the delicate area of skin around the eyes and orbital area. These products were created to match the pH of the eye and were tested by dermatologists and ophthalmologists.

It all began 18 years ago when Dr. Boxrud began seeing hundreds of patients with dark circles around the eyes. She bagan collecting data (while still lecturing) on eyelid and orbital area issues. Her research looked at the anatomical changes in the affected tissue contributing to the dark circle effect. After five more years of seeing patients and looking at the data, she concluded the issues relating to dark circles were a venous inflammatory condition as well as a predisposition to translucency and bony structure.

The results of her research is a series of patented creams, products specifically designed for the eyes that address the darkness around the eyes. Dr. Boxrud was the first doctor (and scientist) to understand the pathophsyiology of dark circles. "No amount of surgery will help if one doesn't address the skin and periorbital skin, if the eyes don't sparkle, any successful facial rejuvenation is pointless."

Dr. Boxrud eventually realized her dream and launched Eyetopia Products. “I’ve been using Eyetopia Products on patients since 2001” says Dr. Boxrud and have been able to show real results, both in the short and long term.
